Landscaping products - Timber cladding

Use Q-Garden® timber claddings to finish your own high quality buildings, sheds, cabins and screens. Our Q-Garden loglap and shiplap products have water repellant properties, (pretreated with Tanalith E Extra) providing the timber with an extra level of protection. Note: water based stains/paints are not suited for application over our special water repellant timber, it is advisable to use organic solvent based alternatives such as Sadolin Classic. Our new Q-Garden black barn weatherboarding is pre-painted (both sides), providing a quick and easy solution with immediate impact. Being both kiln-dried and painted means the chance 'tram-lining' is eliminated (visible strips of un-painted cladding as a result of shrinkage associated with un-seasoned cladding drying in warm weather i.e. un-seasoned cladding which has shrunk after being painted). Note: organic solvent based stains/paints are not suited for application over our new black barn weatherboarding, it is advisable to use water based alternatives. For best results use Bedec Barn Paint (Acrylic, Water based in either semi gloss or satin finish, Tel 01279 876657) Dulux Weathershield (water based system) is also suitable.

These loglap and shiplap claddings are special order products, so please check availability with your Q-Deck retailer. Allow approximately 10-14 days availability apart from the 40mm x 130mm Loglap which will take 20+ days.
